Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONSTRUCTING LDPC CODE CHECK MATRIX
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/219001
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present application relates to 5G channel coding technology, in particular to a method and device for constructing a low density parity check (LDPC) code check matrix, which are used for improving the transmission performance of a system. The method comprises: generating fundamental mode diagrams in which the row weights of low code rate parts satisfy a preset range; determining partial fundamental mode diagrams which need to be used on the basis of a specified code rate and the fundamental mode diagrams; and expanding cyclic coefficients corresponding to non-zero elements in the partial fundamental mode diagrams by using a cyclic permutation matrix determined on the basis of an expansion factor so as to obtain a corresponding check matrix. Hence, the transmission performance of a check matrix obtained according to the cyclic coefficients corresponding to the fundamental mode diagrams is ensured in the application process by means of limiting the row weight of a low code rate part in a designed fundamental mode diagram. The described design solution is simple and easy to implement, will not increase the complexity of storage or increase the subsequent operation and maintenance costs, and may effectively support multiple code rates and information bit lengths in an information transmission process, thereby improving the transmission performance of a system to the maximum extent.
