Abstract:
This device for controlling a compression ignition engine is provided with a speed acquisition unit (102) that acquires an engine speed, and an injection amount setting unit (105) that sets fuel injection amounts for the next and subsequent cycles of an injector (6) during a starting period following the start of cranking. When the engine speed reached by combustion of an (n-1)th cycle is equal to or greater than a crossover determination value (R0) and less than a lower limit value (R1) of a resonant range (Br), the injection amount setting unit (105) sets the fuel injection amount of an nth cycle to a jump-over injection amount (F2) and sets the fuel injection amount of an (n+1)th cycle to an induction-minimizing amount (F3) that is less than the jump-over injection amount (F2).
