Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING A DIRECT CURRENT MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2004072130
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
According to the invention, for a simple actuator, the cumulative rotational angle of the rotor is calculated from the current operating values of the direct current motor, from a starting point at which a supply voltage is applied to the direct current motor. A value representing the current speed of the rotor is calculated from the current operating values and a braking angle for a short-circuited direct current motor is calculated from said representative value. The supply voltage is switched off and the direct current motor is short-circuited, if the sum of the cumulative rotational angle and braking angle corresponds to the predefined actuator travel. The operational state of the motor can be determined with sufficient accuracy from the supply voltage and the motor current.
