Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for controlling downlink data transmission power. The method comprises: determining a modulation mode of a base station sending downlink data when a sending instruction for the downlink data is received; determining a transmission power increased value of the base station sending the downlink data at this time according to the modulation mode; and determining a total transmission power value, which is obtained by adding a standard transmission power value corresponding to the modulation mode to the transmission power increased value, as a transmission power value of the base station sending the downlink data at this time. Also disclosed is a device for controlling downlink data transmission power. The method and device for controlling downlink data transmission power, compared with a method for sending downlink data at a standard transmission power value in the prior art, improve the utilization rate of downlink data transmission power, improve system performance, and also improve the user experience effect.
