Abstract:
In an electrically assisted bicycle, excessive assistance by an electric motor is prevented by means of implementing control of a characteristic (10) of the electric motor in accordance with bicycle speed by using an input voltage, and by means of implementing control in accordance with pedal power in such a way that the assistance rate satisfies a regulation (9).
