Abstract:
This device for controlling no idling has switches (5, 6) that detect opening operation of a driver's seat door and release of a driver's seat seatbelt, as alighting operation of a driver. When alighting operation of the driver has been detected during no idling, the no idling is cancelled and an engine (1) is restarted by resetting a traveling history condition flag. Thereafter, even when closing operation of the driver's seat door or re-wearing of the driver's seat seatbelt has been detected, the traveling history condition flag is set to 0 until traveling occurs at a predetermined vehicle speed, so that no idling is not resumed. Accordingly, it is possible to avoid unnecessary automatic stop/automatic restart of the engine (1) when alighting is not actually performed but the vehicle is started.
