Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for correcting a license plate, the method comprising: first determining a license plate to be corrected and vehicle passing record to be corrected corresponding thereto; then determining similar license plates of the license plate to be corrected; matching vehicle passing records corresponding to the similar license plates with the vehicle passing record to be corrected, and determining matching probabilities between the similar license plates and the license plate to be corrected; and determining the similar license plate having the maximum matching probability as a corrected license plate. Therefore, the correction of an incorrectly recognized license plate can be implemented.
