Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for creating a radar image by means of a frequency-modulated continuous wave radar, comprising the following steps: a transmission signal having at least two frequency ramps that are provided with different slopes is created; the transmission signal is fed into at least one frequency-scanning antenna (6, 21, 22) of the continuous wave radar and is transmitted; the transmission signal which is reflected by one or several targets (G1, G2) is received in the antenna (6, 21, 22); at least one intermediate frequency signal is detected from the signal received by the antenna (6, 21, 22); and the position of the targets (G1, G2) relative to the continuous wave radar is directly evaluated by means of a selectable intermediate frequency from the intermediate frequency signal and the different ramp slopes. The invention also relates to a device for implementing said method.
