Abstract:
A method and a device for crushing waste tire capable of completely separating rubber and iron components from tire chips crushed roughly into a size of approx. 10 cm square only in one crushing process, wherein waste tire chips are sandwiched between a one-axis rotary blade (3) rotated inside a casing (2) and both blade tips of fixed blades (4, 4) which are fixed under the condition that a clearance slightly larger than the diameter of a piano wire (9) contained in a tire is provided between the blade tips of the fixed blades opposed to each other, and the rubber only is broken without cutting the piano wire and steel fiber and the rubber is plucked off by the rotation of the rotary blade (3) so as to crush the waste tire chips while the rubber and iron components are separated from the waste tire chips, whereby a process for producing rubber powder from the waste tire can be simplified remarkably and the material recycle of the waste tire can be promoted.
