Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for data communication using phase angle control of AC power and, more particularly, to a method and a device for data communication using phase angle control of AC power, the method comprising the steps of: (a) receiving a transmission target data packet, which comprises a binary one-bit and a binary zero-bit, and AC power from the outside by a transmitter; (b) receiving input AC power by a fist zero-voltage point detecting portion inside the transmitter and detecting a first zero-voltage point of the input AC power; (c) arbitrarily pre-matching a first switching signal that switches from an off-state to an on-state, a second switching signal that continues of the on-state, and a third switching signal that switches from the on-state to the off-state with an initiation bit, a binary one-bit, and a binary zero-bit, respectively, storing the same in a first controller inside the transmitter, grasping a first zero-voltage point from the first zero-voltage detecting portion, applying a switching signal matched with the initiation bit to a switching portion when a first zero-voltage point is detected during communication initiation, and successively applying a corresponding switching signal, which is matched with a bit value constituting the transmission target data packet, to the switching portion every time the next first zero-voltage point is detected; (d) receiving the AC power by the switching portion inside the transmitter, receiving the first to third switching signals from the first controller, allowing the AC power to pass when the first to third switching signals correspond to the on-state, blocking the AC power when the first to third switching signals correspond to the off-state, and outputting modified AC power generated as a result; (e) receiving the modified AC power output from the switching portion by a second zero-voltage detecting portion inside a receiver, successively detecting second zero-voltage points, and transmitting the same to a second controller; and (f) successively receiving the second zero-voltage points by the second controller, reading a bit value pre-matched with the third switching signal when a second zero-voltage point signal switches from the off-state and maintains the on-state during a half period with reference to the point of time every time the second zero-voltage point is detected, reading a bit value pre-matched with the second switching signal when the same continuously maintains the off-state, reading a bit value pre-matched with the first switching signal when the same switches from the on-state and maintains the off-state, and outputting a data packet to be received, which is obtained by successively aggregating respective bit values that have been read. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a method and a device for data communication using phase angle control of AC power wherein, in connection with controlling the phase angle of AC power in order to transmit data, a leading-edge control waveform, a trailing-edge waveform, and an uncontrolled waveform are combined, and the data initiation point is indicated besides binary numbers, thereby securing data communication stability and enabling efficient communication.
