Abstract:
Disclosed is a device for despreading in optical domain in the present invention, and the device comprises an optical splitter for dividing a received optical signal into a first optical signal and a second optical signal; a optical modulator for outputting a third optical signal after performing phase-shift on the second optical signal, the phase difference between the third optical signal and the first optical signal being a first difference; an optical coupler for performing phase-shift on the first optical signal and the third optical signal respectively to output a fourth optical signal and a fifth optical signal to a balance receiver, and the balance receiver for adding up the fourth optical signal and the fifth light signal to generate a sixth optical signal. By converting the conventional multiplying operation for the CDMA despreading from electrical domain to optical domain, the chip rate can be easily raised to 20 GHz, or even 25 GHz, and a single wavelength can provide the rate up to 100 Gbps, enabling to meet the demand of the users for the high bandwidth. In addition, the device provided by the embodiments of the present invention is at a lower cost than the prior art.
