Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and a device for detecting Internet sharing by multiple users. The method comprises: computing a quantity value of packets in a storage interval in a predetermined linear interval, the storage interval being an interval in which IP identifier (ID) values carried in IP headers of the packets progressive increase as natural numbers, and the quantity value being corresponding to the quantity of users that currently share the Internet; and determining, according to the quantity value, whether multiple users share the Internet. By means of the present invention, the problem in the related art that a limitation exists in the solution of detecting Internet access by multiple users, so that the requirement of an operator is met.
