Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for detecting an iris image. The method comprises: acquiring an iris image to be detected; determining, from the iris image, an iris area image and a pupil edge area image; performing spatial domain feature extraction on the iris area image to obtain a first feature set and performing frequency domain feature extraction on the pupil edge area image to obtain a second feature set; performing feature screening on the first feature set and the second feature set, and detecting the screened feature sets to obtain a detection result, wherein the detection result is used to characterize whether the iris image is clear. The present application solves the problem in the prior art that a blur detection method for an iris image has a low detection accuracy.
