Abstract:
A method and a device of detecting phase with high precision are disclosed. The
method includes: any one of two equivalent phase-detecting frequency is selected
as a reference frequency, the phases of which will be detected, then an offset
is added to said reference frequency by using a frequency detuning cell, so as
to obtain a new reference frequency; a difference of frequency is obtained by
comparing said two phase-detecting frequency with said new reference frequency,
respectively, by two digital mixer, so that a first difference frequency and
a second difference frequency are achieved; a digital phase difference of said
first differencefrequency and said second difference frequency is obtained
by using a digital phase detector; and a digital phase difference of said two phase-detecting
frequency with high precision can be acquired by calculating said digital phase
difference through an arithmetic unit. The precision of detecting phase can
be improved greatly according to the present invention.
