Abstract:
A method and device for detecting software upgrade of database. The method comprises: acquiring an upgrade program statement of a software database under test, and retrieving a change statement in the upgrade program statement, the change statement being a statement changing an instance of a published software database into an instance of the software database under test (S102); acquiring an initialization statement of the published software database, and extracting a database table and field information corresponding to a table name of a database in the change statement from the initialization statement, the database table and the field information comprising constraint information and field type information (S104); and after detecting whether the execution of the change statement violates the constraint information, detecting whether the change statement matches the field type information (S106). The present invention addresses the problem of low-efficiency and high-cost testing of the software upgrade of the database, improving the testing efficiency of the software upgrade of the database and reducing the test cost.
