Abstract:
A method and device for detecting a wet garment, the method comprising: obtaining a section temperature of each section in a target region (S101); on the basis of the section temperatures, calculating an average temperature of the target region (S102); and if a difference between the average temperature and any of the section temperatures is greater than or equal to a first preset difference threshold, determining that a wet garment is present in the target region (S103). The first preset difference threshold is provided to enable a comparison between the threshold and the difference between the average temperature and any of the section temperatures in order to determine whether a wet garment is present in the target region. It is also possible to pinpoint the location of the wet garment on the basis of the section temperatures and improve the accuracy of wet garment detection.
