Abstract:
A method for determining the deterioration state of an object, wherein the deterioration state of the object is determined on the basis of the brightness and/or color difference of oil, which is calculated from a detected value detected by an optical sensor. The object is present in an oil path. The optical sensors are provided respectively in front of and behind the object in the oil path. The optical sensor comprises an inspection part into which the oil gets, a light emitting element which emits detection light to the inspection part, and a light receiving element which detects color information relating to the detection light transmitted through the oil.
