Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for determining a power reserve of an electric drive (14), particularly for use in a drive train (12) of a motor vehicle (10), comprising the following steps: determining a power limit of the electric drive (14) which constitutes a limit of the convertible power of the electric drive (14); detecting a requested, provided, or acting torque of the electric drive (14); determining a power reserve which constitutes a convertible power that is above the requested, provided or acting torque within the determined power limit of the electric drive (14); and displaying the power reserve by means of a display means (28).
