Abstract:
Provided is a method for determining a SNP loci set. The SNP loci set is for use in pedigree verification of a predetermined breed of a predetermined species. The method comprises: (1) constructing a first SNP loci set and a second SNP loci set, every SNP locus of the first SNP loci set being sourced from a biological body of the predetermined species, every SNP locus of the second SNP loci set being sourced from the biological body of the predetermined species; (2) with respect to every SNP locus of the first SNP loci set, respectively determining the species occurrence frequency of a predetermined base type in the predetermined species; (3) with respect to every SNP locus of the second SNP loci set, respectively determining the breed occurrence frequency of the predetermined base type in the predetermined breed; and (4) determining a SNP loci set for use in pedigree verification of the predetermined breed on the basis of the difference between the breed occurrence frequency and the species occurrence frequency.
