Abstract:
Through the present invention, an abnormality in a feed shaft is diagnosed without the new addition of a sensor or the like. In the present invention, a frequency characteristic of a feed shaft and a damage frequency generated when a damaged feed shaft performs a shaft operation are acquired in S1, the frequency fg at which the gain in the acquired frequency characteristic is maximized is calculated in S2, and the feed rate Fg at which the frequency fg and the damage frequency match is calculated in S3. The feed shaft is caused to operate at the calculated feed rate Fg in S4, and frequency analysis of servo information pertaining to control of a servo motor during shaft operation is performed in S5. The presence or absence of a peak in the damage frequency is confirmed from the results of frequency analysis in S6, an abnormality is determined to be present in S7 when a peak is present, and the feed shaft is determined to be normal in S8 when there is no peak.
