Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a method and device for displaying film data. The method comprises: upon receiving a command of first film information triggered by a user on an interface displayed with a list of at least one piece of film information, popping up a first pop-up window, wherein the first pop-up window comprises a playing time of the first film information and a ticket price corresponding to the playing time; upon receiving a ticket purchase command for the ticket price corresponding to a first playing time of the first film information in the first pop-up window, popping up a second pop-up window for payment; upon receiving a ticket purchase confirmation command in the second pop-up window, acquiring a live stream of the first film information in a server according to an identifier of the first film information, and displaying the live stream to the user according to the first playing time. The present invention realizes playing of films that are now in physical theaters, and adopts an operation mode similar to a cinema to recommend latest and most popular films to the user, enabling the user to watch the films that are now in physical theaters without going out, improving film watching experience of the user.
