Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and device for drawing a canvas. A specific embodiment of the method comprises: receiving a canvas drawing request of a user, displaying a canvas drawing page, the canvas drawing page comprising an element component list and a canvas view, the canvas view comprising a construction area corresponding to a plurality of constituent elements, the element component list comprising at least one canvas element component of a constituent element corresponding to the user and multi-dimensional classification information of each canvas element component; in response to detecting an operation by the user on the canvas element components, and when a target position of the operation is located in the construction area corresponding to the canvas element components, displaying, at the target position of the construction area, a canvas element corresponding to the canvas element components, the operation being triggered by the user selecting the canvas element components according to the multi-dimensional classification information; and generating a target canvas according to the canvas element in the construction area.
