Abstract:
A method and device for dyeing a tape-form member for a slide fastener are provided which, while obtaining the same dyeing quality as obtained conventionally, enables small batch production without producing unnecessary inventory and makes it possible to perform dyeing in a short time. This method involves: a conveyance step for conveying a fastener tape (T); the first washing step for washing the fastening tape (2) with a liquid; a pre-treatment step for impregnating the fastening tape (2) with ink; a squeezing step for squeezing the fastener tape (T) between rollers; a first drying step for drying the fastener tape (T); a first inkjet step for applying ink to the surface of the fastener tape (T) with an inkjet device; a second drying step for drying the fastener tape (T) to which ink has been applied; a second inkjet step for applying ink to the back surface of the fastener tape (T) with an inkjet device; a third drying step for drying the fastener tape (T) to which ink has been applied; a coloring step for coloring the ink on the fastener tape (T) with a coloring device; a second washing step for washing the fastening tape (T) with a liquid; and a fourth drying step for drying the fastener tape (T).
