Abstract:
A method and a device for establishing a bearer, being used for solving the problem of establishing a bearer to transmit data under the architecture of an access network control plane network element and an access network user plane network element being separated. The method comprises: an access network control plane device sending, in response to a first triggering message, a first request message to an access network distribution unit device; the access network control plane device receiving a first response message sent by the access network distribution unit device, the first response message responding to the first request message, the first response message carrying a first address therein, the first address being a first transmission layer address corresponding to the first bearer; the access network control plane device sending a second request message to the access network user plane device, the second request message carrying the first address therein, the first address being used by the access network user plane device to send, by means of the first bearer, downlink date to the access network distribution unit device.
