Abstract:
The present application discloses a method and device for estimating an orientation error of an onboard camera. One embodiment of the method for estimating an orientation error of an onboard camera comprises: obtaining a first image of a preset scene captured by an onboard camera in a preset standard orientation; and executing an orientation error estimation step comprising: obtaining a second image of the preset scene captured by the onboard camera in a current orientation; and using a relative orientation estimation model to compare the first image with the second image, so as to obtain relative orientation information of the current orientation and the preset standard orientation of the onboard camera, wherein the relative orientation estimation model is generated on the basis of training in a deep learning network. The method achieves automated and highly precise error estimation of an onboard camera.
