Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and device for evaluating the severity of a head injury incurred by a cyclist after impact with a road surface, and a testing method. The method comprises: acquiring, by means of a custom-made testing device, an impact acceleration of a head model falling from a specific height onto a road surface, processing the acquired impact acceleration to calculate a TBS value, and acquiring, by means of querying a likelihood lookup table, provided by the present invention, and mapping a TBS value to the severity of a head injury incurred by a cyclist, the likelihood of a severe or minor injury in the event that a cyclist falls and hits their head on a test road surface, so as to evaluate safety risks of falling on the road surface. Compared with the related art, the method and the device provided by the present invention for evaluating the severity of a head injury incurred by a cyclist after impact with a road surface have significance in quantitatively describing whether a road surface can optimally protect the safety of cyclists, thereby providing an effective method and tool for evaluating, constructing, or repairing a cyclist lane in a city.
