The present application aims to provide a method and device for executing an operation on a touch terminal. Based on a touch operation of a user on a current application, the relative positions of a target operation object in the application and of an operation action area are adjusted, and if the target operation object overlaps the operation action area, an operation corresponding to the operation action area is applied to the target operation object. Compared with the prior art, by determining the relative positions of the target operation object and of the operation action area, the present application automatically triggers the execution of the corresponding operation with respect to the target operation object; because the entire process of automatic determination and execution by equipment is of greater efficiency and accuracy than autonomous determination and execution by the user, the degree of collaboration in human-machine interaction is increased, specifically, in an application scenario having increased requirements on execution criterion determination and execution speed with respect to the operation, the present application completes more accurately and quickly an anticipated operation of the user with respect to the target operation object, thus optimizing user experience.
