Abstract:
Proposed is a method for reducing noise of a compressed image, comprising: obtaining a first image by applying a convolution filter to a compressed image of an original image, wherein the convolution filter sequentially performs down convolution and up convolution corresponding to the down convolution; obtaining a second image obtained by subtracting the first image from the compressed image; obtaining, from the second image, noise including high frequency information and compression artifacts of the compressed image; obtaining a third image by removing the compression artifacts by applying DNN for compression artifact removal to the noise; and reconstructing the compressed image by aggregating the first image and the third image.
