Abstract:
A tip cover (12) installed at the tip of a casing pipe (11), comprising a generally truncated cone-shaped tip cover case (13), a ball valve (16) stored vertically movably in the tip cover case (13), and a valve seat part (14) in contact with the ball valve (16) to bring the inside of the casing pipe (11) into a closed condition at the tip thereof, wherein a soil pressure sensor (S1) measuring a surrounding soil pressure is installed on the outer side of the tip cover case (13), a pressure sensor (S2) measuring air pressure is installed on the inner side of the casing pipe (11), and an air feed port for feeding compressed air is provided inside the tip cover case (13).
