Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for fusing a panchromatic image and an infrared image and a device therefor and, more specifically, to a technique fusing a panchromatic image of high resolution and an infrared image including thermal information, thereby finally improving the resolution of the infrared image by using the high-resolution panchromatic image. To this end, the device for fusing a panchromatic image and an infrared image, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises an image acquisition unit, a filtering unit, an image correction unit, a scaling factor determination unit, and a fused image production unit.
