Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for image decoding and a method for image encoding. The method for image decoding comprises the steps of: obtaining information on a motion-constrained tile set; determining a first boundary area of a corresponding location tile set in a reference picture corresponding to the motion-constrained tile set on the basis of the information on the motion-constrained tile set; padding a second boundary area corresponding to the first boundary area; and performing an inter-picture prediction on the motion-constrained tile set by using the corresponding location tile set including the padded second boundary area.
