Abstract:
A method and device for encoding/decoding an image are provided. The method for decoding an image according to the present invention may comprise the steps of: identifying a region by partitioning an image; and determining a prediction mode of the region, on the basis of at least one of the size of the region, the form of partitioning, and a decoding parameter of the region. The determined prediction mode of the region may be determined to be a prediction mode of all decoding blocks included in the region.
