Abstract:
A digital camera (28) capable of capturing a color image and having an automatic exposure adjusting function and an automatic focusing function is oscillatably attached at a predetermined position in relation to an object (30) through a tilt device (29), and oscillated by a tilt device so that the center of the image moves along a predetermined path (31a) on the surface (31) to be imaged. Each time the field of view of the digital camera reaches a predetermined position of the path, the digital camera images the surface to be imaged and a part of a member (35) provided thereto as an imaging range. It is preferable to adjust the focal length of the digital camera so that the resolution over the imaging range may be substantially the same. The member to be imaged is a liquid gasket applied in the bead form along the path. If the width exceeds a predetermined range, the object is detected as defective.
