Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for influencing the distribution of flow speeds and flow directions of the components of a fluid stream which flows through a section (4) of pipe with an expanded cross-section, a dissipation element (5) being located in said section (4). Before the fluid stream comes into contact with or passes through the dissipation element (5), it is divided into two sub-streams by a channelling device (6).
