Abstract:
A method and device for intercepting harassing telephone calls, comprising: detecting that a fixed telephone user has an incoming call and taking over an incoming call service of the fixed telephone user; after taking over the fixed telephone incoming call service, comparing the incoming call number with valid items in a preset saved blacklist of the fixed telephone user; if the incoming call number is a valid item in the blacklist, then terminating the incoming call; if the incoming call number is not a valid item in the blacklist, then performing dynamic voice verification. In an embodiment of the present invention, by adopting a blacklist and dynamic voice verification processing after taking over a fixed telephone service, a fixed telephone user realizes effective handling of a harassing telephone call, avoiding harassment to the user caused thereby, and improving the communication experience of the user.
