Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for an interoperation between networks. An indication message is sent to a UE by means of a network device, wherein the indication message is used to indicate whether to allow the UE to perform an RAN rule-based LTE-WLAN interoperation in an idle state, so that the UE can determine, according to an indication of a network side, whether to perform the RAN rule-based LTE-WLAN interoperation in the idle state, and the network side can accurately control the LTE-WLAN interoperation of the UE in the idle state.
