Abstract:
Provided in the present disclosure are a method and device for link failure diagnosis. The method comprises: insofar as a line of communication (LOC) warning submitted is received, decomposing a connection network to which the LOC warning relates into at least two corresponding network elements and at least one unit link; performing pathway detection respectively with respect to each network element and each unit link acquired by decomposition; and generating a failure diagnosis result on the basis of the pathway detection results of all of the network elements and of the unit link, where the unit link is constituted by a line between a network node interface (NNI) at an outbound port of a westbound network element and an inbound port of an eastbound network element of adjacent two network elements.
