Claims
1. Method of sealing a thermal processing chamber (3) and cooling of solid output of waste tires recycling, characterizing by usage of hydraulic lock (1,2) in loading-unloading process.
2. Device that implements the method according to claim 1, comprising loading and cooling volume, separated by hydraulic lock (1,2), contraptions (8, 9, 10, 11) for waste rubber container (4) displacement and lifting, thermal processing chamber (3). |
Method and device for loading-unloading and sealing a reactor chamber in waste tire recycling technology.
Invention description
Method of rubber waste recycling generally is processing by overheated steam at temperature 380 0 C. As a result rubber is destructed into solid, liquid and gaseous fractions. In distinction of existing methods of loading-unloading suggested method considerably reduces environmental emission of highly toxic gaseous compounds, heavy metals and ashes at the moment of raw material loading and unloading. Invention solves following issues:
• Sealing a thermal processing chamber, that guarantees no emission of any gases;
• Solid fraction cooling is accelerated;
These issues are resolved by new design of loading-unloading device, represented on Fig.l. Following process example illustrates device working principles.
Container (4) is filled with 1000 kg of waste rubber, cut into 300-400mm pieces, and then is loaded into loading-unloading volume (1), that is basin, separated with hydraulic lock. Then container (4) is pushed by special contraption (8) onto lifting platform (11) into cooling part (2) and lifted to reactor level. Then pushing contraption (9) pushes container (4) and closing lid into thermal processing chamber (3) where destruction of rubber waste is going on in environment of overheated steam at 380- 400°C. When process of destruction is finished, the same contraption (9) pulls container (4) back onto platform (11). Platform (11) is lowered and cooling of solid remainder begins. To cool off 320kg of solid reminder from 380 0 C down to 70 0 C it is necessary to dissipate 186410 kJ of heat.
During the cooling off 1500 kg of water will be evaporated and level of water will be lowered by 107 mm. Hydraulic lock of size 260 mm secures device sealed. When water level is lowered, fluid makeup pump will restore level. Container (4) is returned to unloading part (1), pulled up by telpher and transferred to solid fraction separation line. Then processing cycle is repeated.
