Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for machining a workpiece by means of wire spark erosion, wherein a wire is pulled through the workpiece to be machined as a tool, and the contact region between the wire and the workpiece is rinsed with a non-aqueous dielectric, wherein the wire is wetted using an organic liquid before the same enters the workpiece. The invention further relates to a device by means of which such a method can be carried out.
