Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and a device for managing aspect and aspect trigger. The method comprises the following steps: an aspect and aspect trigger management device receives a request message, said request message carries a definition and storage path of the aspect and/or aspect trigger, said aspect is a generalization of one or multiple information elements, or indicates one or multiple types of information elements required to be obtained, said aspect trigger indicates performing a corresponding trigger action when a specific aspect satisfies a predefined condition (S11); the aspect and aspect trigger management device parses said request message and creates, according to said storage path, a document comprising the definition of said aspect and/or aspect trigger (S12). The invention utilizes said device to manage the aspect and aspect trigger, thus enables a Presence Access Layer (PAL) client to use PAL service conveniently, and reduces the load of said client.
