Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and device for managing and controlling a broadcast, and a terminal device. The method comprises: identifying one or more applications that are running at a terminal device, and when one or more applications are running in the background and a first predetermined condition is satisfied, sending a first control instruction; or when one or more applications are switched from the background to the foreground for running, and/or a second predetermined condition is satisfied, sending a second control instruction; when the first control instruction is received, freezing and caching a broadcast to be sent to the one or more applications; or when a second control instruction is received, unfreezing the broadcast to be sent to the one or more applications, and delivering the broadcast to the one or more applications. The method for managing and controlling a broadcast and the terminal device provided in the embodiments of the present invention can avoid the problems of unsmooth running of a system and heating of a terminal device caused by frequent reception of a broadcast in the background by one or more applications.
