Abstract:

Provided is a method for manufacturing an absorptive article 1. This method has: a transport step for transporting, in a transport direction, a continuous sheet 3ta that is continuous along the transport direction; a machining part formation step for repeatedly forming machining parts 3c in the transport direction in each portion 1p, which corresponds to an absorptive article 1 on the continuous sheet 3ta, at a prescribed position P11 in the transport direction; and an information generation step for generating information that pertains to the absorptive articles 1 having the machining parts 3c, or to the machining parts 3c. In the machining part formation step, the machining parts 3c are repeatedly formed by a plurality of machining process parts 11h, which are provided in different positions in a rotation direction, at the outer circumferential surface of a rotary body 11d that rotates in the transport direction while being arranged at the prescribed position P11. In the information generation step, what is generated as the information is information for associating the absorptive articles 1 having the machining parts 3c, or the machining parts 3c, with a machining process part 11h, from among the plurality of machining process parts 11h, 11h . . ., that forms the machining parts 3c.
