Abstract:
A method of manufacturing an extruded material capable of controlling crystal grain size and texture by dynamic recovery and/or dynamic re-crystallization in plastic working, wherein a step for providing a shearing stress to an alloy material is continuously performed at least two times by changing an extruding direction to a side within an internal angle of less than 180°at an extrusion ratio of 1 or higher in at least two extruding and carrying routes to converge and extrude the alloy material to and from one extruding port. In the example of an extruding device shown in Fig. 1, the alloy material (1) receives shearing stress on a shearing surface I and a shearing surface II in the extruding and carrying route (7) and is extruded from the extruding port (6). The extruded material obtained by the manufacturing method above has excellent mechanical strength, ductility, and impact resistance. Thus, an alloy and a molded product free from anisotropy in mechanical properties can be provided.
