Abstract:
The present application provides a method and device for measuring a network state. The method comprises: a first network element receives first instruction information from a second network element, the first instruction information being used for instruct to measure a first measurement parameter of a data packet of a first service flow; the first network element measures a first measurement parameter of a first data packet according to the first instruction information to obtain first measurement data, the first data packet belonging to the first service flow; the first network element generates first signaling; and the first network element reports the first measurement data to a third network element by means of the first signaling. On the basis of the described solution, the network overhead brought by the reporting of measurement data can be reduced.
