Abstract:
Provided is a method for measuring the water content of a hydrogen fluoride-containing compound represented by the general formula XF·nHF (where X is one of K, NH4, Na or Li, and n is a rational number greater than 0). The method includes: a step for heating and decomposing the hydrogen fluoride-containing compound; and a step for obtaining the water content of the hydrogen fluoride-containing compound by quantitatively determining the water content in pyrolysis gas generated by heating and decomposition. By means of this measurement method, it is possible to quantitatively determine the water content in a hydrogen fluoride-containing compound, represented by XF·nHF, in an accurate manner.
