A method and a device for molding a blow molded product, capable of reliably separating a molded body main body irrespective of the shape thereof. A method of molding a blow molded product, wherein an intermediate molded body (200) provided with a molded body main body (210) which is a molded product portion and also with a flash section (220) which is an excess portion integrally connecting to the molded body main body (210) is molded by blow molding, then molds are opened with the intermediate molded body (200) being caused to adhere to one mold (110), and after that the flash section (220) is made to project by means of a knockout pin (140) to separate the intermediate molded body (200) from the mold. An ejector mechanism (150) for separating close-contact surfaces of the molded body main body (210) and an inner peripheral surface (C10) of the cavity of said mold (110) from each other is provided to said mold (110). When the flash section (220) is caused to project by the knockout pin (140), the ejector mechanism (150) is operated to separate the close-contact surfaces of the molded body main body (210) and the inner peripheral surface of the cavity of the mold (110) from each other.
