Abstract:
Disclose are a method and device for monitoring a use pattern using a window title. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for monitoring a use pattern of an application program driving a computing device comprises: a step of obtaining a window title when an application program is executed to generate a window; a step of recognizing detailed information regarding the window according to the title on the basis of predetermined comparison data, and generating or updating information regarding a use history of the application program according to the detailed information regarding the window; and a step of monitoring a use pattern on the basis of a criterion set by using the information on a history of use stored for each application program. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the use pattern of an application program in accordance with the use of a computing device is monitored according to program type, filename, website type, URL, operating time, etc., and is then provided. Accordingly, a user can recognize the use pattern to more efficiently utilize the time spent using a computing device, thereby improving work efficiency.
