Abstract:
Disclosed in the present disclosure are a method and device for network congestion control, comprising: a user equipment (UE) receiving a session management message from a network side, the session management message carrying a delay access timer and indicating a packet data network (PDN) type corresponding to the delay access timer; the UE activating the delay access timer, and performing connection operations of other PDN types while the delay access timer is running, the other PDN types being PDN types other than the PDN type corresponding to the delay access timer.
