Abstract:

According to the invention a charge of a pyrotechnic composition is burnt containing 50-90 % by weight of nitrate or perchlorate of an alkali metal and 10-45 % by weight of a combustible binder. The said charge is placed in a reservoir shaped as a hollow envelope with at least one opening and provided with a means for ignition of the charge.
