Abstract:
In the prior art, a laminate (2) of pre-impregnated composite material is obtained, which is arranged on a cutting table (1), said laminate being attached to the table (1) by applying a vacuum, and the laminate (2) is cut into longitudinal strips (3) leaving strips of waste material (4) between said strips, which are manually removed for subsequent post-processing of the longitudinal strips (3) so as to obtain the longitudinal parts. The aim of the invention is to automate the process of removing the waste strips (4) for which, prior to the removal thereof, the invention includes a step of attaching one end (4a) of the strips (4) to a winding device (5) and winding the strips (4) in the longitudinal direction of the laminate (2). The device basically includes a roller (5) provided with a means for attaching the ends (4a) of the strips (4) in order to perform the aforementioned automated step.
